The number 88 was chosen with intention. In Mahjong culture, eight is considered the luckiest number, symbolizing fortune, prosperity, and good energy. Doubled, it represents abundance and longevity, making it the perfect namesake for a set designed to be played often, shared widely, and loved for years to come.
